How it works
- Drop your PDF statement (or several).
- We find the transaction table, join wrapped descriptions and carry dates down.
- Check the preview and the balance check, then download Excel or CSV.
Running-balance check
When the statement has a balance column, every row is re-added: previous balance plus this transaction must equal the printed balance. You see exactly which rows, if any, do not reconcile.
Multi-page and multi-line
Repeated headers on each page are skipped, descriptions that wrap onto a second line are joined, and same-day transactions without a printed date inherit the date above.
Real numbers, not text
Amounts like 1,234.56, 1.234,56, (45.00) or 45.00- become proper Excel numbers, so SUM and pivot tables work immediately.
Questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is read by JavaScript inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to our servers, so there is nothing for us to store, leak or delete. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
Which banks are supported?
There is no bank list to maintain: the converter reads the layout of the page itself. It works best on the downloadable PDF statements most online banks provide (text-based PDFs with a transaction table). If a statement does not convert well, the preview shows it before you download anything.
Does it work with scanned statements?
Yes, with Pro. Scanned or photographed pages are read with text recognition (OCR) inside your browser, so they are still never uploaded. OCR can misread a digit on a poor scan, so check the balance check and the preview. Text-based PDFs downloaded from online banking need no OCR and convert on the free plan.
How do I know the numbers are right?
Use the balance check. If every row reconciles, the amounts were read exactly as printed. If a row is flagged, look at that row in the preview, it is usually a wrapped line or an unusual layout.
Can I convert several months at once?
Pro lets you drop many statements at once and get one workbook with a sheet per file plus a combined sheet.
